| anyone who has played with Playdoh as a kid can mold fiberglass, but molding urethane is a whole other animal. Heating it to fuse the insert & patch the hole left by the bracket just makes the material burn and bubble instead of melting cleanly, and urethane glue is extremely expensive (in the order of $50/tube). Also, urethane doesn't sand down as cleanly or easily as FG. My body shop went through a lot of trouble to shave the JSpec fascia, lucky for me he saw my car as a personal challenge and persisted to make it right. A less determined man would have botched it.
